Zimmerit was used on German cars from 1942, actually until the end of the war, but in 1944 its use was significantly reduced due to information about its alleged flammability. The mass in question consists of several components, including: polyvinyl acetate, wood shavings, barium sulphate and zinc sulphate. Before application, the mass had a consistency similar to mixed gypsum mortar, and at the factory it was applied to the armor of cars in two layers, which of course extended the process of their construction. Zimmerit was applied to many German armored vehicles, including: Panzer III, IV, V and VI tanks, and the StuG III and IV self-propelled guns. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The flight of the prototype took place in February 1945, and in the same year the plane entered the line. The Ki-100 was a very far-reaching modification of the Ki-61 machine, which primarily involved replacing the unreliable Ha-40 and Ha-140 in-line engines with the Mitsubishi Ha-112-II KASEI radial engine with 1500 hp. Despite the problems, it was possible to start serial production, which was based on two aircraft models: Ki-100-I Ko and Ki-100-I Otsu. The Ki-100s were used almost exclusively as interceptors for the B-29 bomber raids on the Japanese Islands. About 400 machines of both versions were built. Technical data: length: 8.82m, wingspan: 12m, height: 3.75m, maximum speed: 580km / h, rate of climb: 13.9m / s, maximum range: 2200km, maximum ceiling 11000m, armament: fixed - 2 12.7mm Ho-103 machine guns and 2 20mm Ho-5 cannons. The commander of the Luftwaffe - from its very beginning, actually until the end of World War II - was Herman Göring. From 1935 to 1939, the amount of Luftwaffe equipment grew by leaps and bounds, and so did the number of ground personnel. This tendency continued until the end of World War II. It is assumed that in 1939-1945, a total of around 3.4 million people served in the German armed forces, the lion's share of which was ground personnel. At the start of the September campaign, the Luftwaffe had approximately 900,000. people, and in the summer of 1941 that number grew to 1.5 million people. However, at the beginning of 1944, the Luftwaffe already numbered about 3 million people, which was the maximum it achieved during World War II. This number (3 million people) included, inter alia, 600 thousand. people serving in anti-aircraft artillery and 530 thousand. people in auxiliary units. It is assumed that from the beginning of the war to January 1945, the losses of Luftwaffe personnel amounted to approx. 140,000. people killed and approx. 155 thousand. missing persons. The first copies of this car appeared in the late 1930s. Serial production continued in the years 1938-1950. The drive was provided by a single carburettor engine with a power of 50 HP. GAZ-MM was created as a development of the GAZ-AA truck, and the basic change concerned the use of a more powerful engine, which slightly improved the car's performance. GAZ-MM, was also a license-free copy of the American Ford AA truck. The truck was characterized by good driving characteristics, decent off-road mobility, and above all, it was relatively cheap to produce and easy to repair and use. In the first months of 1942, due to a shortage of raw materials, the production costs were further reduced by, for example: eliminating the door in the steering cabin, not installing front brakes or removing the front bumper. Cars of this type served in the Red Army throughout World War II. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Osnovne informacije Proizvođač FLY Šifra proizvoda: FLY32027 Težina 0.43 kg Skala 1:32 Dodato je u katalog: 30.6.2022 Tagovi Hawker-Hurricane The Hawker Hurricane is a British single-engine single-engine fighter with a metal structure with canvas elements from the Second World War. Acting on all fronts during the Second World War, the Hawker Hurricane earned the name of one of the best and most ubiquitous airplanes of that time, both as a fighter and an attack plane. Undoubtedly, however, the most significant card in the history of this machine was its contribution to the victory of the British in the Battle of Britain in 1940. The plane constructed by Sydney Camm at the request of the Ministry of Defense was supposed to become the main force of the British air fleet. For the first time, a prototype of an aircraft powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin Mk.II engine took off on November 6, 1935, piloted by Georg Bulman. The tests were excellent and it was quickly decided to order 600 machines, the first of which entered service with the 111th squadron of the RAF in December 1937. When Great Britain declared war on Nazi Germany on September 3, 1939, the RAF had 19 ready-to-fight Hurricane squadrons, which started their military career with operations in France and Norway. During the course of the war, several versions of this very successful plane were created. The first mass-produced version was the Mk.I with the Merlin III engine. From 1940, the Mk.II versions with the new Merlin XX engine with a capacity of 1280 HP began to be delivered to the units. It was this version, as the first variant of Hurricane, that performed primarily assault and battlefield support tasks. Its best variant was the Hurricane Mk.IID, used by min. in the North Africa campaign in 1942. The third version is the Hurricane Mk.IV with the new Merlin 24/27 engine, 1620HP. It served as an assault machine armed with bombs, unguided missiles and Vickers S cannons until 1944. A sea variant (Sea Hurricane) was also produced, which served on aircraft carriers and on specially adapted merchant ships (Sea Hurricane Mk.IA). Technical data (Mk.IIC version): length: 9.84m, wingspan: 12.19m, height: 4m, maximum speed: 547km / h, rate of climb: 14.1m / s, maximum range: 965km, maximum ceiling 10,970m Armament: fixed - 4 20mm Hispano Mk.II cannons, sling - up to 460 kg of bombs. The first parachute unit was organized in Nazi Germany in 1936 - perhaps as a result of observations made during the Soviet maneuvers of the previous year. The first paratroopers squad was created on the initiative of Herman Göring and was assigned to the Luftwaffe. A year later (1937), the first unit of this type was subordinated to the Wehrmacht, and more precisely to the land forces. In 1938, these units were combined and expanded to form the 7th Aviation Division under the command of General Kurt Student. It consisted of parachute infantry, troops trained to transport gliders and infantry transported to the battlefield by airplanes. In the course of World War II, more Fallschirmjäger units were created, incl. in 1943, on the basis of the 7th Aviation Division, the 1st and 2nd Parachute Divisions were established. In the period 1939-1941, the German Fallschirmjäger was used for its intended purpose (e.g. during the fighting in Western Europe in 1940), but after the heavy losses suffered in the course of the fighting in Crete in 1941, the German parachute troops began to be used primarily as elite infantry units, in which role they proved to be very successful, earning the nickname "Green Devils" among the Allies. The first prototypes of this vehicle were built in 1956-1957, and serial production in the USSR started in 1958 and lasted until 1981. In its course, about 27,500 vehicles of this type were created - only in the Soviet Union! The combat weight of the tank was up to 36 tons. The drive was provided by a single W-55 engine with a capacity of 580 HP. The primary armament was a 100mm D-10T2 model 1944 tank gun, and the secondary armament consisted of a 7.62mm SGMT machine gun and a 12.7mm DSzK machine gun. The T-55 tank was a development of the T-54 and, like it, was seen as a Main Battle Tank (MBT). The main differences between the two vehicles concerned the use of a more powerful engine on the T-55, as well as a slightly different model of the 100mm gun. In addition, such modernizations were also introduced, such as an increase in the stock of transported ammunition or the serial stabilization of the gun vertically and horizontally. Ultimately, a very successful car was created, perceived in the 1950s and 1960s as one of the best in its class in the world. The vehicle was also widely exported and licensed in many countries around the world (e.g. in Czechoslovakia or Poland). It was used in combat in many armed conflicts after 1945, including the Six-Day War (1967), the Indo-Pakistani War (1971) and the Iraqi-Iranian War (1980-1988). Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

A prototype flight took place in 1934, but the machine never entered production. The drive was provided by a single 100 HP M-11 engine. The machine was 7.5 meters long with a wingspan of 9.7 meters. The maximum speed was around 185-190 km / h. The plane did not have permanent on-board weapons. The Chetverikov SPL was developed for the needs of the Soviet Navy as a light flying boat designed to operate from submarines. The very idea of using the machine was clearly modeled on the ideas tested in the British Royal Navy in the early 1930s. The Czetwerikow SPL flying boat was characterized by a mixed structure, with a large number of wooden elements and a relatively high power unit. Preparing the machine for flight, on the submarine, took no more than 5 minutes. Despite the fact that the Chetverikov SPL was not a bad machine, it did not go into production. Greška u opisu? Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Peddinghaus-Decals Šifra proizvoda: PED72F054 Težina 0.01 kg Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 6.10.2023 Tagovi Japanese-World-War-II-Infantry Formally, the Empire of Japan entered World War II with the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, but from 1937, Japan carried out large-scale military operations in China. At the end of 1941, the Japanese army consisted of 51 divisions, which, together with numerous separated units, had a strength of approximately 1.7 million people. More than half of these forces (27 divisions) were stationed in China. The basic type of armed force in the Japanese army was, of course, infantry. Interestingly, in 1938, Japanese infantry divisions underwent an organization, as a result of which most of them (but not all!) Consisted of 3 infantry regiments, and each regiment consisted of 3 infantry battalions. At the division level, the infantry regiments were also joined by staff subunits, an artillery regiment, a cavalry battalion, an engineer battalion as well as transport, communication and medical units. In total, the Japanese infantry division (the so-called B-type) had about 19,800 full-time employees. It is worth adding that it had relatively weak anti-tank and anti-aircraft armament, and its supporting artillery was usually 70 or 75 mm caliber. Artillery units with more than 100 mm caliber artillery were rare. It should also be said that Japanese infantry units were characterized by a very high morale, almost fanatic, with iron discipline, but also (especially after 1942) they were clearly inferior tactically or in firepower to their Allied opponents. It should also not be forgotten that Japanese infantry units have committed a great many war crimes, bearing the hallmarks of crimes against humanity, with the macabre Nanking Massacre at the turn of 1937 and 1938 at the forefront. The history of the M3 began in 1940, when the US Army saw the need to replace the old M2 with a more modern design. After several months of testing, the American Car and Foundry company released the first serial copy of the new tank, designated M3, in March 1941. The production of this successful tank lasted until 1945 and ended with the production of over 22,000 units! The M3 was powered by a Continental W-970-9A 7-cylinder engine with a capacity of 250 HP or a 9-cylinder Guilberson T-1020-4 diesel engine with a capacity of 210 HP. On the other hand, the M5 tank was powered by two coupled Cadillac V-8 engines with a capacity of 220 HP each. In total, several versions of the M3 tank were created. The first production series was marked M3, the next was M3A1, which min. was stripped of the watchtower and no longer had side machine guns. The M3A3 model entered production in 1943, with numerous improvements from the fighting in North Africa. Production of the M5 also began in March 1942, which was essentially a modification of the M3. The M5 tank was made in only two versions: M5 and M5A1. The latter had an elongated turret, an improved cannon mount and a new machine gun mount on the turret. The last modification was not used on all tanks of this version. The M8 self-propelled gun was also created on the basis of the M3 / M5 tank. The tanks were massively exported to Great Britain under the Lend and Lease Act program. In the American and British service, they served in North Africa, Italy, Normandy, and in the battles in France and Germany in 1944-1945. Tanks in the declining period of the war were replaced by the M24 Chaffe. The M3 / M5 Stuart is recognized as one of the best light tanks of World War II. Satisfactory range, speed and maneuverability all made him highly valued by his crews. Technical data (M3A3 version): length (with a barrel): 4.52m, width: 2.24m, height: 2.52m, engine power: 210-250KM, range: 217km, maximum speed (on the road): 58km / h, armament: 1 M6 37mm cannon, 2 7.62mm M1919 machine guns. Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Revell Šifra proizvoda: rev64029 Težina 0.18 kg Ean: 4009803640297 Skala 1:144 Dodato je u katalog: 13.4.2011 Tagovi Grumman-F-14-Tomcat Model-set Designed as the U.S. Navy's primary fighter, the F-14 Tomcat could perform air superiority, escort, and strike missions and was undoubtedly one of the most sophisticated and technologically advanced aircraft ever to serve an aircraft carrier. The prototype machine was flown on December 21, 1970, and the first planes were delivered to the US Navy four years later. The last Tomcat planes were decommissioned only in 2006, which perfectly illustrates the high quality and great performance of this machine. The most innovative and characteristic solution for the F-14 are the wings with variable geometry. Controlled by computer or manually by the pilot, they can change their angle of attack from 20 degrees at minimum speed to 60 degrees at supersonic speeds. The changing geometry of the wings also allows for optimal positioning of the wings when maneuvering tightly, thanks to which this powerful aircraft exhibits amazing maneuverability. The heart of the Tomcat weapon system is the Hughes ANG-9 radar, usually cooperating with the AIM-54A Phoenix air-to-air missiles with a range of up to 180 km. Being able to track and attack more than one target is especially important. No less important element of the armament, as shown by the combat experience in the Vietnam War, is the cannon - in the F-14 mounted inside the M-61 Vulcan hull, firing up to 6,000 rounds per minute! Of course, you can also attach other types of weapons to the Tomcat, such as Sparrow, Sidewinder rockets or various bombs. The F-14 also owes a lot of its success to the excellent power unit in the form of a pair of Pratt-Whitney TF30 engines with a thrust of 9300 daN with afterburning. Technical data: Maximum speed: 2480 km / h, climb speed: 153 m / s, practical ceiling 17100 m, maximum range: 3200 km, armament: fixed - single, six-barrel 20mm M61-A1 cannon, suspended - up to 6580 kg cargo. The machine was first tested in 1938, and its small production took place in 1940. In total, no more than 14 machines of this type were built, along with prototypes. The drive was provided by a single engine Daimler-Benz DB 601B with a power of 1100 hp. The plane was 11.4 meters long with a wingspan of 13.5 meters. The deck armament consisted of two 7.92 mm machine guns. The machine could also carry a load of bombs or a torpedo weighing up to 1000 kilograms. The Fi 167 was developed by the Gerhard Fieseler Werke GmbH aviation plant as a new torpedo and observation plane based on the "Graf Zeppelin" aircraft carrier under construction. The machine was characterized by an all-metal construction with a classic fixed undercarriage. The wings of the plane were folded backwards. The Fi 167 plane, although it was not a failed machine, gave way to similar Japanese or American designs. It was also never used from the deck of an aircraft carrier. The planes went to a special 167th Squadron, which was formed in 1940 and served in the Netherlands in 1941-1943. In 1943, in connection with the completion of work on the aircraft carrier "Graf Zeppelin", the squadron was disbanded and some machines were sold to Romania. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The Messerschmitt Bf-109 is a German metal-structure single-engine fighter in a low wing configuration with a classic tail. It turned out to be the basic and most produced Luftwaffe fighter during World War II. The flight of the prototype took place on May 29, 1935, and serial production continued in the years 1936-1945. In total, it is estimated that a total of about 35,000 Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighters of all varieties were produced, many of which ended up in the Czech and Israeli air forces after the war. The roots of the Bf-109 go back to the competition announced in 1933 by the Luftwaffe for a new fighter plane. In competition with the He-112, the Bf-109 project initially lost, but thanks to Willie Messerschmitt's intrigues, the project could continue and eventually he was the winner of the competition, becoming the Luftwaffe's primary fighter. Several main variants of the Bf-109 were developed in the course of production. The first pre-production series was the Bf-109B (Berta) with different versions of the Junkers Jumo 210 (A or Da) engine. They were tested in Spain from 1937 during the Civil War. The next version is the Bf-109C (Caesar). They had a different engine than the B version, and extensive armament consisting of two 20mm and 2 HP 7.92mm cannons. These machines also fought in the skies of Spain. The third version is the Bf-109D (Dora) with the Junkers Jumo 210 Da or Daimler-Benz DB 600 engine. It fought in the September campaign, but at the turn of 1939/1940 it was replaced by the E version. The most famous model was the Bf-109E (Emil) with a Daimler-Benz 601A or N engine. It was the first to use a three-blade, not a two-blade propeller. Bf-109E fought in the French campaign, over England, and in North Africa and on the Eastern Front. The ace who started his career on the Bf-109E was the famous Adolf Galland. The next version is the Bf-109F (Friedrich), which, according to the German pilots, was the most aerodynamically perfect. It sowed the changed shape of the fuselage, wings, cabin fairings, but no new engine was used. It was put into service at the turn of 1940/1941. As part of the development of the design, further Bf-109 specifications were developed, of which the G (Gustav) version was produced in the largest number of copies. The most important change increasing the machine's performance was the installation of a new 12-cylinder Daimler-Benz DB605A engine with 1475HP. The armament of the Bf-109G was a pair of 13mm machine guns located in the fuselage in front of the cockpit fairing, and the MG151 20mm or heavier MK108 30mm cannon. The last mass-produced version was the Bf-109K (Kurfirst), which production started in October 1944. A Daimler-Benz DB 605DB or DC unit was used as the engine. The Bf-109K was the fastest version produced during World War II, reaching up to 730 km / h. Apart from that, two versions were created - H and Z, but they were rather experimental versions and their mass production did not start. Subsequent improvements in propulsion and armament made the Messerschmitt Bf-109 one of the most dangerous fighters of World War II, and at the same time showed the great potential of the slightly angular airframe created by Willi Messerschmitt. Technical data (version Bf-109 G-6): length: 8.95 m, wingspan: 9.92 m, height: 2.6 m, maximum speed: 640 km / h, rate of climb: 17 m / s, maximum range: 850 km, maximum ceiling 12000m, armament: fixed - 2 MG131 13mm machine guns and 1 MG151 20mm cannon, suspended - 250 kg bombs, or 2 Wfr missile launchers. The machine was built in a low wing configuration, it had a metal structure and a classic - fixed undercarriage. The flight of the prototype took place in 1934, and serial production continued in 1935-1939. The drive was provided by a single engine Hispano-Suiza HS-12 Ybrs with 860 hp. The deck armament was one 20mm cannon and two 7.5mm machine guns. Dewoitine D.510 was developed and produced by Société Aeronautique Francaise (Avions Dewoitine) in connection with the desire of the French military aviation to create a low-wing fighter in the early 1930s, which would have much better aerodynamic properties and better performance than the existing high-wing and biplane. In 1932, the successful Dewoitine C.500 aircraft was created at that time and despite the decision to put it into production, the company decided to improve it and improve its performance - as a result of research and development, the D.510 was created. The machine quickly entered the service of the French aviation under the designation D.510 C1 and was quite successful on international markets, being exported to, among others: China, Spain, Japan and Venezuela. Machines of this type took part in the French campaign in the summer of 1940, and their tasks were mainly limited to patrol tasks. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Osnovne informacije Proizvođač MiniArt Šifra proizvoda: mna35364 Težina 0.07 kg Ean: 5905090346159 Skala 1:35 Dodato je u katalog: 8.5.2023 Tagovi German-World-War-II-Tank-Crew Kit Contains Models of Four Figures The first tanks in the German army appeared at the end of World War I - these were the A7V machines. After the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, the German armed forces were forbidden to develop armored weapons, but the German side did not honor these restrictions and secretly developed armored weapons. However, after Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, this development became fully official, and in 1935 the 1st Armored Division was formed. In the period 1935-1939, further divisions were formed, and their main equipment was the Pz.Kpfw cars: I, II, III and IV. A single armored division at that time was composed of a tank brigade divided into two armored regiments, a motorized infantry brigade and support units, among others: reconnaissance, artillery, anti-aircraft and sappers. It consisted of about 300 tanks in full time. It is also worth adding that the German armored forces (German: Panzerwaffe) were trained and prepared to implement the doctrine of lightning war, and not - as in many armies of the time - to support infantry activities. Therefore, emphasis was put in training "pancerniaków" on the interchangeability of functions, independence in decision-making by officers and non-commissioned officers and the best technical mastery of the tanks owned. All this resulted in great successes of German armored weapons in Poland in 1939, but especially in Western Europe in 1940. Also in the course of the fighting in North Africa - especially in the period 1941-1942 - the German armored forces turned out to be a very difficult opponent. Before the invasion of the USSR, the number of German armored divisions almost doubled, but the number of tanks in these units decreased to about 150-200 vehicles. Also in the course of the fighting on the Eastern Front - especially in 1941-1942 - the German armored forces were superior in training and organization to their Soviet opponent. However, contact with such vehicles as the T-34 or KW-1 forced the introduction of the Pz.Kpfw V and VI tanks to the line in 1942 and 1943. Growing losses on the Eastern Front, as well as lost battles - at Stalingrad or Kursk - made the German Panzerwaffe weaken. Its structure included heavy tank battalions (with 3 tank companies), and in 1943, armored grenadier divisions were established. There was also an increasingly clear advantage of the Soviet side, and from 1944 - the need to simultaneously fight the Soviet troops in the east and the Allies in the west. It is also assumed that it was then (in the years 1944-1945) that the training of the German armored forces was weaker than in the previous period and did not constitute such a significant advantage on the German side than before. The last large-scale operations of the German Panzerwaffe were the offensives in the Ardennes (1944-1945) and in Hungary (1945). Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Dream Model Šifra proizvoda: DMO-DM720010a Težina 0.34 kg Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 23.2.2024 Tagovi J-20 The Chengdu J-20 is a modern Chinese 5th generation fighter plane. The prototype flight took place in 2011. In March 2017, the machine entered the lines of the Chinese Air Force, achieving limited combat capability. In total, about 20 serial copies of this aircraft were made. The drive is provided by two motors Shenyang WS-10G . The aircraft has a maximum speed of 2 Ma. The machine probably has on-board armament. The unit cost of the plane is estimated at $ 110 million (USD), however this is probably an understated price. Work on the fifth generation fighter, conceptually similar to the American F-22 Raptor, began in the PRC in the late 1990s at the Chengdu Aerospace concern. However, the J-20 was first presented to the public in 2016. The Chengdu J-20 was built in a duck-like arrangement with delta wings, probably using a very large amount of composite materials. It is assumed that it has very high maneuverability and - for sure - it has stealth properties. Most likely, it was equipped with highly advanced electronic equipment, and it can certainly carry a wide variety of missiles and laser-guided bombs. Comparing the J-20 to the F-22 is very difficult due to the concealment of many data on this first aircraft by the Chinese air force. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem
